Read What I Read, Can’t be Better Said

While browsing through me PsychoCybernetics book, I ran into a quote about worrying in a positive way, and it has been helpful.

The article said,

Mentally, begin to play with the idea of complete and inevitable success. Don’t force yourself. Don’t attempt to coerce your mind. Don’t try to use effort or willpower to bring about the desired convinction. Just do what you do when you worry, only “worry” about a positive goal and a desireable outcome, rather than a negative goal and an undesirable outcome.

This quote was taken from The New PsychoCybernetics

I also heard about how creative writing can help you get through difficult time, last night on the BBC. It caught my attention, and it is good to know that I am employing some useful methods to make my transition from corporate to self-employment.

I didn’t really understand how much the odds are stacked against you when you venture off to do things that is not the norm. You family and friends might not support you, or turn against you. Outsiders might mock and scorn you, and sometimes your own mind and body does not want to cooperate, but there is always tomorrow.
